The Fixer · Fractional growth & ops strategy

Something needs fixing. You just can't get to it.

Too many priorities, not enough people. The positioning is half done, the automation breaks every Monday, and the launch plan keeps sliding to next quarter. I'm Kate Dole. I've worked on the product side and the marketing side, and I come in to fix what you don't have the time or the team for. Mostly that's founders and small teams without a marketing hire, and established businesses that have outgrown their own systems.

What I hear on first calls

Founders have usually read the right books. They understand positioning. They're just too close to their own product to apply it, and every marketing hire so far has jumped straight to tactics.

“I need marketing help.”
Usually means the positioning isn't settled yet, and every tactic is fighting that.
“Our landing page doesn't convert.”
The product story makes sense inside the building and nowhere else.
“We hired an agency and it didn't work.”
Nobody took the time to understand what you actually built.
“I need a co-founder for the business side.”
You need someone who can hold the product and the market in one head.

Right-sized to what you need

Some problems take a day. Some need a week of focused thinking. Some need someone in the seat every month. Start with the one that fits, and change it as you go.

Prices in CAD. I'll quote US and venture-backed rates on the call.

A Fixer day

$575

One day · book as needed

One specific problem, fixed in a day. The automation that keeps breaking, a process nobody wrote down, a CRM that's become a junk drawer, a launch checklist, the marketing ops that eat your week.

  • We agree on the problem before the day
  • I do the work, with you or on my own
  • You get it working, plus notes on how it runs

Strategy Sprint

$2,500

One-time · one week

One focused week on positioning, messaging and a 90-day plan. You finish with the words for your site and your sales conversations, and a clear list of what to do first.

  • Who it's for, and why they should care
  • The story, in words your buyers use
  • A 90-day go-to-market plan
  • Rolls into the monthly seat if we keep going

A strategist on your team without hiring one. I only hold two seats at a time, so you get real attention.

  • A weekly working session to decide and unblock
  • Positioning and messaging, kept current
  • A go-to-market plan, and doing parts of it
  • Hands-on work: pages, decks, campaigns, automations and ops
